CVE-2023-4011: 
GitLab vulnerability analysis and mitigation

An issue has been discovered in GitLab Enterprise Edition (EE) affecting all versions from 15.11 prior to 16.2.2 which allows an attacker to spike the resource consumption resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). The vulnerability was assigned CVE-2023-4011 and was discovered internally by GitLab team member gonzoyumo (GitLab Release).

The vulnerability is rated as medium severity with a CVSS v3.1 score of 4.3 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L). The issue allows an attacker to cause resource consumption spikes by loading the Dependency List page, which could potentially lead to a denial of service condition (NVD).
