Overview
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in Libming version 0.4.8 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted .swf file to the makeswf function (NVD). The vulnerability was discovered and disclosed in August 2023.

The vulnerability exists in the r_readc() function at fromswf.c:264, where a heap buffer overflow occurs when makeswf parses an invalid swf file.
