CVE-2023-45073: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Michael Koch Mendeley Plugin for WordPress, affecting versions 1.3.2 and below. The vulnerability was initially reported on May 17, 2023, and was officially published with CVE-2023-45073 on October 3, 2023. This security issue requires administrator-level access to exploit (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue, identified as CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation).
