CVE-2023-47811: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Anywhere Flash Embed WordPress plugin versions 1.0.5 and below. The vulnerability was reported on September 20, 2023, by Ngô Thiên An (ancorn_ from VNPT-VCI) and was officially published on November 15, 2023. This security issue affects the WordPress plugin developed by Suresh KUMAR Mukhiya (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) with a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.5 (Medium) according to Patchstack, and 5.4 (Medium) according to NIST. The CVSS vector string is CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L, indicating that the vulnerability requires network access, low attack complexity, low privileges, and user interaction (NVD).
