The Buttons Shortcode and Widget WordPress plugin through version 1.16 contains a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. The plugin fails to properly validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in a page or post where the shortcode is embedded (WPScan).
