CVE-2024-11784: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The Sell Tickets Online – TicketSource Ticket Shop for WordPress plugin is affected by a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2024-11784) in versions up to and including 3.0.2. The vulnerability exists in the plugin's 'ticketshop' shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. The issue was disclosed on December 20, 2024 (NVD).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue, identified as CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation). It has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.4 (Medium) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N, indicating network accessibility, low attack complexity, and required low privileges (Wordfence).

The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages.
