The Logo Showcase Ultimate – Logo Carousel, Logo Slider & Logo Grid plugin for WordPress contains a PHP Object Injection vulnerability (CVE-2024-1951) affecting all versions up to and including 1.3.8. Technical details
The vulnerability stems from improper handling of deserialization via shortcode of untrusted input. This security flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject PHP Objects into the application. While no POP (Property-Oriented Programming) chain is present in the vulnerable plugin itself, the presence of a POP chain through additional plugins or themes could enable exploitation (NVD).
