CVE-2024-22135: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

An Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type vulnerability was discovered in WebToffee Order Export & Order Import for WooCommerce plugin affecting versions through 2.4.3. The vulnerability was reported on December 15, 2023, and publicly disclosed on January 10, 2024 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been assigned CVE-2024-22135 and is classified as CWE-434 (Unrestricted Upload of File with Dangerous Type). It received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.2 (HIGH) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H according to NVD, while Patchstack assessed it with a CVSS score of 8.0 (HIGH) and vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H (NVD).

This arbitrary file upload vulnerability could allow a malicious actor to upload any type of file to the website, including potential backdoors which could then be executed to gain further access to the website (Patchstack).

Users are advised to update to version 2.4.4 or later to resolve the vulnerability. Patchstack has issued a virtual patch to mitigate this issue by blocking any attacks until users update to a fixed version (Patchstack).
