CVE-2024-2308: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The ElementInvader Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2024-2308) that affects all versions up to and including 1.2.2. The vulnerability was discovered and disclosed on March 15, 2024, and impacts the button link functionality in the EliSlider component (NVD).

The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the EliSlider component's button link feature.
