WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The Canto WordPress plugin versions up to 3.0.6 contains a critical Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability (CVE-2024-25096). The vulnerability was discovered on February 12, 2024, and affects the plugin's handling of the 'abspath' parameter, which allows for remote file inclusion. This unauthenticated RCE vulnerability has been patched in version 3.0.7 (Patchstack).
