CVE-2024-29917: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Compact WP Audio Player WordPress plugin, affecting versions through 1.9.9. The vulnerability was identified on March 25, 2024, and assigned CVE-2024-29917 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored XSS issue, stemming from Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (CWE-79).
