CVE-2024-32103: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The Siteimprove WordPress plugin contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions up to and including 2.0.6. The vulnerability was discovered and reported by Dhabaleshwar Das, with CVE-2024-32103 being assigned to track this security issue (Patchstack).

The vulnerability stems from missing or incorrect nonce validation on two functions within the plugin. The vulnerability is classified as CWE-352 (Cross-Site Request Forgery) (WPScan).

The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to request a token via a forged request if they can trick a site administrator into performing specific actions, such as clicking on a malicious link (WPScan).

The vulnerability requires user interaction to be exploited, specifically requiring an administrator to be tricked into performing certain actions. The attack complexity is considered low, requiring no privileges for the attacker to initiate the exploit (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been fixed in version 2.0.7 of the Siteimprove WordPress plugin. Site administrators are advised to update to this version or later to remediate the security risk (WPScan).
