The OSM – OpenStreetMap plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2024-3603) affecting all versions up to and including 6.0.2. The vulnerability was discovered and disclosed on July 9, 2024 (NVD, Wordfence).

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes such as 'theme' in the plugin's 'osm_map' shortcode. Users should update to a version newer than 6.0.2 when available. The vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 6.0.2 (NVD).
