CVE-2024-43349: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in AREOI All Bootstrap Blocks WordPress plugin, tracked as CVE-2024-43349. The vulnerability affects versions through 1.3.19 and was reported by Ngô Thiên An (ancorn_ from VNPT-VCI) on April 30, 2024, with public disclosure on August 16, 2024 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (CWE-79) issue. It received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.5 (Medium) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L, indicating that it requires low attack complexity and limited privileges to exploit (Patchstack).

The vulnerability could allow a malicious actor to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website, which would be executed when guests visit the site.
