CVE-2024-45454: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in Unlimited Elements For Elementor (Free Widgets, Addons, Templates) WordPress plugin affecting versions up to 1.5.121. The vulnerability was reported on September 6, 2024, by Rafie Muhammad and publicly disclosed on September 30, 2024 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) and has received varying CVSS scores. This Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability could allow malicious actors to inject malicious scripts, including redirects, advertisements, and other HTML payloads into the website. These injected scripts would be executed when visitors access the affected site (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been patched in version 1.5.122 of the Unlimited Elements For Elementor plugin. Users are advised to update to this version or later immediately. Additionally, Patchstack has issued a virtual patch to mitigate this issue by blocking potential attacks until users can update to the fixed version (Patchstack).
