CVE-2024-45460: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in Manu225 Flipping Cards WordPress plugin versions up to 1.30. The vulnerability was discovered on September 15, 2024, and was assigned CVE-2024-45460. This security issue affects the Flipping Cards plugin's web page generation functionality (NVD, Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) and allows for Stored XSS attacks. The vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.31 of the Flipping Cards plugin. Users are advised to update to version 1.31 or later to remove the vulnerability. The security issue is considered to have a low severity impact and is unlikely to be exploited (Patchstack).
