CVE-2024-5173: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The HT Mega – Absolute Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress (CVE-2024-5173) contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability in its Video player widget settings. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.5.5. The issue was discovered and disclosed on June 25, 2024 (NVD).

The vulnerability stems from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the Video player widget.
