CVE-2024-54265: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in UkrSolution's Barcode Scanner with Inventory & Order Manager WordPress plugin. The vulnerability, identified as CVE-2024-54265, affects versions through 1.6.6 and was disclosed on December 10, 2024. The vulnerability was initially reported by researcher Aiden (Thái An) on November 26, 2024 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (CWE-79). It received a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.1 (High) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. This indicates that the vulnerability is network-accessible, requires low attack complexity, needs no privileges, but does require user interaction.
