The Clean Login plugin for WordPress contains a Local File Inclusion vulnerability (CVE-2024-8252) affecting all versions up to and including 1.14.5. The vulnerability exists in the 'template' attribute of the clean-login-register shortcode (NVD).

Technical details

The vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to include and execute arbitrary files on the server through the 'template' attribute of the clean-login-register shortcode.
