Overview

The WordPress Post Grid Layouts with Pagination – Sogrid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in versions up to and including 1.5.2. This vulnerability was assigned CVE-2024-8392 and was discovered in October 2024 (NVD).

Technical details

The vulnerability exists via the 'tab' parameter which allows authenticated attackers with Administrator-level access to include and execute arbitrary files on the server. This enables the execution of any PHP code in those files. The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 7.2 (HIGH) with the vector string CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H (NVD).
