CVE-2025-22718: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the WordPress FAT Event Lite plugin, tracked as CVE-2025-22718. The vulnerability affects versions through 1.1 and was discovered by researcher SOPROBRO. The issue was publicly disclosed on January 15, 2025, and involves improper neutralization of input during web page generation (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as CWE-79 (Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation) and has received a CVSS v3.1 score of 6.5 (Medium). The attack vector is network-based (AV:N) with low attack complexity (AC:L), requiring low privileges (PR:L) and user interaction (UI:R).
