WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in Matt Brooks Library Instruction Recorder through version 1.1.4. The vulnerability was disclosed on January 16, 2025, and was assigned CVE-2025-23646. This security flaw affects the Library Instruction Recorder WordPress plugin (Patchstack, NVD).
