WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Uncomplicated SEO WordPress plugin affecting versions through 1.2. The vulnerability was reported on January 25, 2025, and publicly disclosed on February 2, 2025. This security issue affects the Uncomplicated SEO plugin and allows Reflected XSS attacks (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) issue, specifically of the Reflected XSS type.
