CVE-2025-26763: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability (CVE-2025-26763) was discovered in MetaSlider Responsive Slider by MetaSlider plugin that allows Object Injection. The vulnerability affects versions from n/a through 3.94.0 of the plugin. The issue was initially reported on December 23, 2024, and was publicly disclosed on February 14, 2025 (Patchstack).

The vulnerability has been assigned a CVSS v3.1 base score of 9.8 (CRITICAL) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H. The issue is classified as CWE-502 (Deserialization of Untrusted Data) (NVD).

This PHP Object Injection vulnerability could allow a malicious actor to execute code injection, SQL injection, path traversal, denial of service, and more if a proper POP chain is present (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is considered moderately dangerous and is expected to become exploited. Editor privileges are required to exploit this vulnerability (Patchstack).
