WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

CVE-2025-26929 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Accounting for WooCommerce WordPress plugin versions up to and including 1.6.8. The vulnerability was discovered and disclosed on March 26, 2025, impacting NOUS Ouvert Utile et Simple Accounting for WooCommerce plugin (NVD, WPScan).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (CWE-79) issue that occurs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings.
