CVE-2025-31446: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

A Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in jiangmiao WP Cleaner WordPress plugin affecting versions through 1.1.5. The vulnerability was reported on March 19, 2025, by Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang (Skalucy) and was officially published on April 1, 2025. The vulnerability has been assigned CVE-2025-31446 and received a CVSS v3.1 score of 7.1 (High) (Patchstack).

The vulnerability is classified as an Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (CWE-79) that allows for Reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks. The vulnerability has received a CVSS v3.1 Base Score of 7.1 (High) with the following vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L. The issue is particularly concerning as it can be exploited without authentication (NVD, Patchstack).
