This vulnerability allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. When exploited, the attacker can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages that will execute whenever a user accesses the injected page (CVE).

The vulnerability has been fixed in version 3.2.10 of the Post Slider and Post Carousel with Post Vertical Scrolling Widget plugin. Users are advised to update to this version or later to mitigate the security risk (WPScan).
