The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the donor notes parameter in versions up to and including 4.5.0. This vulnerability was discovered and disclosed on July 31, 2025 (NVD).

Users should upgrade to a version newer than 4.5.0 to address this vulnerability. The issue has been fixed in the source code as evidenced by changes in the DonorNotesController.php file (WordPress Plugin).
