WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The GSheetConnector For Gravity Forms plugin for WordPress contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in versions up to 1.3.23. The vulnerability was discovered and disclosed on October 10, 2025, and is tracked as CVE-2025-8606. The issue affects the activateplugin and deactivateplugin functions due to missing or incorrect nonce validation (NVD).

The vulnerability stems from improper security controls in the plugin's activateplugin and deactivateplugin functions, specifically the absence of proper nonce validation. Users should upgrade to a version newer than 1.3.23 to address this vulnerability. The fix was implemented in the subsequent release which properly implements nonce validation for the affected functions (NVD).
