Mitigation and workarounds

Cisco has released fixed software versions to address this vulnerability: ISE 3.2 Patch 8, ISE 3.3 Patch 5, ISE 3.4 Patch 1, and ISE 3.5 (not vulnerable). Organizations running ISE 3.1 or earlier must migrate to a fixed release. Cisco has confirmed there are no workarounds available for this vulnerability. As interim risk-reduction measures, organizations should restrict administrative access to trusted personnel only, enforce strong authentication controls (e.g., MFA), limit network access to the ISE management interface to authorized administrative networks, and monitor management interface access logs for suspicious activity (Cisco Advisory).
