Zoho ManageEngine Desktop Central before 10.1.2137.8 exposes the installed server name to anyone. The internal hostname can be discovered by reading HTTP redirect responses (ManageEngine, NVD).
The vulnerability exists in the web server configuration where certain URLs are set to redirect when requested by a client. During such redirects, the hostname of the internal server could be exposed (ManageEngine).
The exposure of internal hostnames could provide attackers with valuable information about the internal network structure, potentially facilitating further attacks by revealing naming conventions or system organization (NVD).
This vulnerability has been fixed in Endpoint Central build 10.1.2137.8 released on 16.01.2022. Users should update to this version or later to address the issue. The fix is not applicable to Endpoint Central Cloud (ManageEngine).
