Advantech R-SeeNet vulnerability analysis and mitigation

Advantech R-SeeNet Versions 2.4.19 and prior are vulnerable to a path traversal vulnerability identified as CVE-2022-3387. Technical details

The vulnerability exists within the handling of the filename and path parameters provided to the out.php endpoint. The issue stems from improper validation of user-supplied paths prior to using them in file operations.
