CVE-2025-9442: 
WordPress vulnerability analysis and mitigation

The StreamWeasels Kick Integration plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability (CVE-2025-9442) discovered on September 6, 2025. The vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.1.5 and is related to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'vodsChannel' parameter (Wordfence).

The vulnerability is classified as a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (CWE-79) issue with a CVSS v3.1 base score of 6.4 (Medium). The attack vector is network-based (AV:N) with low attack complexity (AC:L), requiring low privileges (PR:L) and no user interaction (UI:N). When exploited, this vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages.
